1. Write reviews for books you would like to share with others.
2. Your reviews should be added to the correct genre page (e.g.: Fantasy, Realistic Fiction, etc.). It can also be added to the New Arrivals page (optional).
After a week, please delete your review from the New Arrivals page.
Instructions for adding a review: a. Sign in with your username and password b. Click on "All New Arrivals" or another page c. Click on "Edit this Page" d. Copy and paste your review in Alphabetical Order on the pages. e. If you are reviewing a book that has already been done, paste your review right above the one already on the page. Be sure to skip a few lines above and below your review so that it does not meld with the reviews already posted. f. Click on "Save"
3. Please use complete sentences, and proper spelling, punctuation and capitalization.
4. Include (in order):
a. A heading with the book's title, author and genre (e.g.: Fantasy, Realistic Fiction, etc.).
Use BOLD and UNDERLINE for this line, and put the (genre in parentheses).
b. A brief plot summary--one that gives people a clear idea of what the book is about but does not spoil it.
Be sure to include time and place, and the names of the main characters.
c. If the book has some adult content, please mention that in the review.
d. Your opinion of the book. If you'd like, you may rate it on a scale of 1-5. (Remember that everyone has different tastes in books. If you do not like the book you read, instead of panning it, explain what was good and bad about it.)
e. Your first name and the initial of your last name
6. If you have any other information, like the author's website, or similar books you can recommend, please add it.
7. Sixth graders must email a copy of your reviews to Mrs. Pransky at jpransky@jbha.org
Enter your reviews on the web site only after you have made all the necessary revisions and have received permission.
